Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and ActionShot for use of the service. By creating an account or using ActionShot you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy.
Who can use ActionShot
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live — at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. If you use ActionShot for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Your account
Keep your credentials secret: anyone with your password can access your screenshots. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe someone else has gotten in, contact support at actionshot dot app promptly so we can help secure it.
Acceptable use
Upload only screenshots you have the right to use — in practice, your own. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that harms other people. Do not resell the service, share your account, scrape the app, or use ActionShot in an automated, high-volume way beyond the fair-use limits described on the Pricing page. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why whenever we can.
The service and AI output
ActionShot uses AI vision models to extract actions, deadlines and next steps from the screenshots you upload. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or miss the context that was obvious to you — treat it as a draft, not as advice or a finished record. Check anything important against the original screenshot before you rely on it. We may improve or change features over time, and we may fix errors in extracted results by updating how the model is prompted.
Plans, billing and trials
The Free plan is free and limited to the monthly analyses shown on the Pricing page; those counters reset on the 1st of each month. Pro is paid at the price shown on the Pricing page, billed monthly or annually, and includes a free trial when one is offered there. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from the Billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan continues to the end of the period you already paid for, then returns to Free. If we charged you by mistake, write to support at actionshot dot app and we will refund that charge. Otherwise, a period you have started is non-refundable, except where consumer law requires otherwise. Prices may change; existing subscriptions are notified before a renewal at a new price.
Your content and our software
You keep ownership of the screenshots you upload and of the analyses created for you. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display them so the service can work — nothing more. The ActionShot app, its design, text and code remain ours and our licensors’. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without any obligation to you.
Termination and deletion
You can stop using ActionShot and delete your account at any time from the Account page; your screenshots, analyses and profile data are deleted with it. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms, are used to harm others, or are required to be closed by law. When we close an account ourselves, we tell the owner unless the law forbids it. On termination, the licence above ends.
Disclaimers and liability
ActionShot is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that extraction results will be accurate or complete, or that it will suit a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 50 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including your mandatory consumer rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Unless your local consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live, the courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a revised date. For material changes we give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use ActionShot after an update means you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
